1. 和菓子の一種。小麦粉などを練って作った皮（生地：きじ）で小豆餡などの具を包み、蒸した菓子。
2. 語義1の形状から、蒸しなどの工程を経ることはないが、何らかの餡を生地でくるんだ形状の和菓子を「―饅頭」と称する。
