occ. written as 斃す, 殪す, 仆す
だから私も、鬼を倒しに行きます。So I am also going to defeat the oni.
3. to overthrow; to trip up; to ruin
革命で王朝が倒された。The dynasty was overthrown in the revolution.
4. to leave unpaid; to cheat
5. to do completely; to do thoroughly; to do to the fullest
after the -masu stem of verb
みんなで彼女を褒め倒した。We all showered her with praise.
