かんげん

Meanings

Noun

1. 根源の元の形、性質、状態に還ること。元の形に戻すこと。

2. 本質的なものに帰着させること。帰着すること。

3. 本来は社会や特定の団体、個人などに帰属するものと考え、元に返すという意識を持って広く提供、共有すること。

4. 原意は、酸化物が酸素を失う化学変化をいう。さらにそこから広がり、化学種が電子を得ること、あるいは、酸化数が減ることも還元と呼ぶ。対義語は酸化。
