Verb conjugation: polite imperative

A polite (but strong!) way of asking someone to do something. Usually used by women. For example:

りんごをべなさい!
Eat the apple!

Nuance-wise you can think of this form as being used by a mother telling her child to eat their vegetables — it's a firm command, but it's not as coarse as the normal imperative form — we don't want to mentally abuse the poor kid after all.
